Karl Adalbert Architecture + Design is a Minneapolis-based architecture and design studio creating thoughtful, enduring spaces across residential and commercial environments.

Meet Karl

Founder and principal architect Karl Adalbert established the studio in 2013 after studying architecture at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Minnesota. Prior to launching the practice, he worked with nationally recognized firms including Ellerbe Becket and RSP Architects, gaining experience across a diverse range of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Outside the studio, Karl is an avid ultra-runner, cyclist, and skier. His connection to the outdoors continually influences his approach to design, inspiring spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and responsive to their environment.
